Sorcerer Pitching Coach Lindsey Barnes

Lindsey Barnes has been a Sorcerer pitching coach for more than four years.  A former collegiate pitcher mentored by academy co-founder Delmar Himango, Barnes has also competed well at the ASA 23&U level.  Barnes believes that it is great to have velocity, but you must also have movement, and for that you must learn to spin the ball properly.  No matter how hard you throw, you will get hit unless you can make the ball move, she says.  Mechanics are the key, Lindsey believes, which is a point of emphasis in each of her lessons.  Lindsey can be reached through the academy or at 925-339-1318.
