Scott Sarginson, Hitting Instructor

Scott Sarginson has many years of experience as a fastpitch hitting instructor, and has worked with hitters ranging from 10&U through 18 Gold and college.  His coaching experience includes high school (three years as an assistant at Northgate in Walnut Creek) and ASA 18 Gold (four years as the hitting instructor for the NorCal Shockers, working with numerous hitters who earned D1 and D2 scholarships).
Scott also serves as global moderator for EnglishbeyHitting.com and has previously served as a moderator at HittingMechanics.org.  He is well known in the internet hitting community (screen-name "ssarge") and has stressed the use of MLB/elite-hitter swing mechanics in fastpitch for the last five years.  Sarginson has been at the forefront of the use of video for hitter training, and incorporates video into his instruction, offering hitters the ability to see immediate feedback.  He also offers frame-by-frame video comparisons between students' swings and those by the elite hitters of the world.
Scott believes strongly that ANY hitter can use proper mechanics to hit the ball more consistently and with far more power, as his students have repeatedly demonstrated.  You can reach Scott at 925-671-7529, 925-286-8496 (cell), or ssarginson@astound.net.
